Hi English teachers! 

Usually, when we think about an activity to improve reading skills, we have in mind the typical text to read and some questions before. 

Today we are lucky!  I find a different online resource for our English classrooms. 
This is a game on Educaplay which works on the reading skills but in a different way. This is why, students will need to read the different sentences and match them with the correct images. 

The activity's aim is to practice reading and comprehension skills in a different form. The game has been designed for seven-year-old children, so taking into consideration used in classrooms of 3rd or 4th grade of Primary Education. At the bottom of the page, we are going to find the linked of the game to facilitate the work on the class.

    Hi mate, I loved your reading activity. I believe that reading comprehension is a basic skill that children must acquire and work on daily. I find it very fun and it allows us to work on this ability dynamically, at the same time that other skills are worked on. This activity favors the development of language skills, brain training, interest, concentration, executive functions, imagination, creativity... In addition, it is a very innovative and different activity, which captures the attention of the students much more. students.

    Hello Georgina, I really liked your idea for this activity, actually I liked it so much that I used it as a reference for my own blog, hope you won't mind it. The idea of making the students join the sentences to the images for sure will make it more funny than reading a hole text and answering questions after it. And as it is an interactive activity, it will improve the students motivation.
    That was a really good idea, thanks for sharing it.
